PIZZA

PIZZA!

I love pizza,
There are two grocery stores that sell fresh pizza dough
for about $1.00
(used to be 99cents and now I believe it's $1.10)
I would pick up 4 freeze two for the following week and
get started on the two we would eat for dinner
I'd do my version of tossing it in the air!
and land it on the metal pizza pan's I have,
add marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese, some oregano and pop it in the oven

sometimes I add ricotta cheese
mmm...

and then mozzarella

and  about 15 minutes later...

VIOLA!

PIZZA!

Now that I made dough for hot pretzels, I am sure it is the same or similar to that recipe.
The stores I spoke of are not right next door, I have to make a special trip to the extremely busy side road.
You know the one, you avoid it too, I'm sure.
Most towns have one.

I am planning to make pizza real soon and would love to know...

What recipe do you use for pizza dough?

  1. OMG, that looks divine w/ricotta. Love, love pizza and I confess I don't make my own crust. I've bought pre-baked crusts like boboli and the bakery brand, though.
I love veggie pizza and putting feta cheese on top. I'm pretty much a anything goes kinda gal. Except sardines and pineapple:)
As always...you have awesome pics...like 'lick the screen' awesome.

  2. Oh wow, that looks divine! I would love a slice this very second, lol. I've always used an old crust recipe from BHG. Love your cheeses!

  3. Adding the ricotta sounds delicious! We usually buy our dough, but we have tried to make ours before and it was good, but a lot of trouble when you can buy it already made ;)
