Pizza is one of my
favorites
and I am very fussy
I don't like "fast food pizza" you know the kind, from chain pizzerias.

I 'm so glad to have a pizzeria close by, when we first moved here from the East Coast everyone would tell me to try their favorite pizza place, and of course I didn't know what the names of all the West Coast pizza chains were yet.
I would try them and think "ICK" who likes this, it's not pizza it tastes like bread and ketchup.
Well the bread part was true the ketchup part may be a little harsh.
You get my point though.
 They were gross,
the kids didn't mind so much
but you usually don't get many complaints from children about pizza
and not from a one and three year old.

After a number of failed attempts of finding pizza the way I like it,
I just about gave up
until
Massimo
opened a few years ago
it's located at
32475 Clinton Keith in Wildomar, Ca
(951) 678-7155

This is pizza closest to what I grew up with

and where pizza is concerned
size does matter

I actually prefer the pizza cut in triangles but this is so big they cut it in squares,

does this pizza look big...are you not sure

take a look at this

it's no exaggeration that I have a hard time getting it through the door it barely fits!

See it just fits

it's a 28" inch pie

which means it's just shy of

two and a half times an 18" pie

and where I grew up that was a large pie

it's actually 2.42 times more and I figured it all out using Pi
I never thought I'd use much Pi

but when it comes to
pizza pie
I'll use all the Pi I can get :)

You certainly get a lot more pizza and a better price than purchasing two 18" and a small pie combined.

The giant 28 " pizza
 is $27.99

Thanks Massimos for making pizza we can enjoy!

I was told today was Pi day, but I see it might be March 14...either way, I Love PIZZA PIE!

  1. I had to chuckle because your story is our story but it's Mexican food. We still haven't found a Mexican restaurant that's up to our family standards since moving from San Diego.
It also doesn't help that my husband's family ran a Mexican restaurant and his mother was a fantastic cook.

  3. My husband is a math major and you made him laugh. I am picky about pizza, and end up making it at home because I can't get a good one anywhere. I hope you are having a great weekend.

  11. Looks mighty tasty too. But as a fellow NJ ex-pat in California, I have to say, I'd give anything for a thin pie from Federici's.

  12. omg that's huge!
looks good, though! I am from the south and when I moved up to NJ I didn't get what the difference was...until I tried it and now I will never go back to Domino's ;)

  13. Seeing that pizza makes me miss college! We had a pizza place that made huge pizza like that, ad my friends and I would get it once in awhile. It's so much fun to buy a massive pizza! Cute picture of you with it!
