When life hands you lemons...

make lemonade

Fresh lemonade reminds me of

going to the boardwalk

and

lemonade stands on a hot summer day

mmm...

ice cold lemonade

can even make a cold winter day bright,

especially when you have fresh lemons.

I make two quarts of lemonade from three of four lemons

it does depend on how juicy they are,

these were very juicy so three is all I needed.

slice them in half

and begin juicing

you can use a hand held juicer,

or a press style juicer

or which ever you have there are so many types

make sure to every last drop

then,
in a pitcher

add 1/3 cup sugar

and dissolve with
2/3 cup warm tap water

it only takes a minute to stir and it will dissolve

then add the lemon juice

 and fill with cold water

stir and serve

I rimmed the glass with a slice of lemon and dipped it in sugar

filled the glass with plenty of ice and poured the lemonade in gave it a stir

Any day can be a
sunshine day
with a fresh glass of
 ice cold lemonade

and a sun sunshine day reminded me of

THIS

  4. So, the trick is to add warm water to dissolve the sugar and THEN chill. Duh.
